This World War One (WWI) Memorial is located in Carnegie on Beechwood Avenue. November 11, 2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI and to commemorate this event our Post took on the task of cleaning and repairing this Memorial. A ceremony will be held on November 10, 2018 in remembrance of the War to end all Wars. The Memorial was pressure washed, the railing painted, the retaining wall rebuilt and shrubs planted. Mortar work was done on the base of the Memorial and the sidewalk in front was repaired.
